Russel Rabbit plays it straight with Tasty Nuggets

A new product has joined Supreme’s Tiny Friends Farm family. Russel Rabbit Tasty Nuggets is nutritious and delicious and the first mono-component for the Tiny Friends brand. It adds to an eye catching portfolio that includes mixes for rabbits, guineas, hamsters, rats, mice, gerbils and chinchillas; tasty hay, bedding, hygiene and a mouth-watering range of multi-species treats.

Tiny Friends Farm has been developed based on a more rational approach to a complex small pets category that shoppers often find confusing. Now, it’s possible to buy everything under one brand making it easy for shoppers to load up their basket quickly with all the food their pets need for a balanced diet and high standard care and then spend more time browsing the other fixtures.

Tasty Nuggets plays an important role within the brand, with Russel providing a familiar name that makes it easier for pet owners to work out the options for seamless transition on to mono-component when they are ready to opt for that choice. It can also be matched, or alternated with existing Tiny Friends Farm variable component mixes for rabbits that love variety and the opportunity to forage.

The recipe contains 19% fibre, natural prebiotics and no added sugar, making it a great option for digestive health and problem solution.  With no potential for selective feeding, it’s easy to feed too – even for complete beginners. Fibrous lucerne and essential fatty acids from linseed make it a healthy choice that retailers will find easy to endorse and easy to explain. Owners simply add Tiny Friends Farm Tasty Hay to their basket and need only give a small handful of leafy green veg each day and fresh water to achieve a complete, balanced diet for their pet.

Retailing at £3.99 (SRP) Russel Rabbit Tasty Nuggets is one of the quality essentials that customer focussed retailers should not be without.

Supreme Petfoods was the first company to make species specific small animal diets that reflected their unique nutritional requirements. The Supreme range includes Science Selective, which is widely recommended by veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses. As well as offering the biggest range of species specific foods, Supreme also manufactures all its herbivore diets in dedicated vegetarian facilities. Only ingredients of the highest quality are sourced for use in the Supreme range of foods and the recipes are developed to be palatable without the use of added sugar. Supreme recipes are all manufactured to a fixed formula to minimise the risk of gastric upset and while the company produces diets containing the highest fibre levels of any rabbit food, hay is always recommended as an additional food source to promote dental wear, provide environmental enrichment, foraging and nesting opportunities.
