Witness appeal following knifepoint robbery in Camberley

We are appealing for witnesses following a knifepoint robbery in Camberley last night (26 June).

The man and the woman were walking through Crabtree Park at around 11:45pm when they were approached by three men with their faces covered. The suspects then threatened the victims with knives and demanded their property. The man was robbed of their bag, wallet and bike before the suspects walked off in the direction of Frimley Road.

The victim received minor injuries but no medical treatment was required.

Officers quickly attended the scene and 30 minutes later, three men who matched the description given were located and arrested on suspicion of robbery and possession of a bladed article.

The men were all described as wearing dark tracksuits with their hooded tops covering the majority of their face.

The incident is currently under investigation and although we have made arrests, we are appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information.
