Witness appeal following knifepoint robbery in Walton on Thames

We are appealing for witnesses following a knifepoint robbery in Walton on Thames on Sunday, 9 June.

A 75 year old man was walking alone along Colby Road at around 8pm when he was approached by a group of teenagers, thought to be four males and one female, demanding his money and watch. The victim initially refused but reports that he saw one suspect withdraw a knife so he handed over his wallet and a high value watch.

The stolen watch pictured is a limited edition and valued at just under £3,000. If you have been offered this watch or have any further information, we are urging you to get in touch.

We are also appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information. If you were near the High Street in Walton on Thames on this day and saw anything suspicious, please contact us on 101, quoting incident reference PR/45190061099.

The suspects are described as black or mixed race and between the ages of 15 and 18.

You can also give information, 100% anonymously, to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111; or through their anonymous online form: https://crimestoppers-uk.org/
