TDC lands yet another big Nordic order

TDC and the insurance group Codan, which includes the companies Codan Forsikring and Trygg-Hansa in the Nordic region, have concluded a three-year agreement after an invitation to tender. The agreement means that TDC will be delivering a number of data and telephony solutions to Codan in Scandinavia.

- We chose TDC because they offered us an cost-effective agreement that covers our communication needs across national borders in the Nordic region, says Niels Mortensen, Chief Operating Officer, Codan and Trygg-Hansa.

The order comprises a so-called WAN network between 50 offices, primarily in Denmark and Sweden, 3,500 mobile subscriptions, 700 mobile broadband subscriptions and landline telephony in the Nordic countries and 700 xDSL broadband customers in Denmark.

- Landing this order demonstrates that we are able to provide the entire package within communication solutions requested by our clients with offices across the entire Nordic region. We are satisfied with the agreement and are looking forward to unfold it, says Peter Stig Andersen, Executive Vice President at TDC Business.

The contract has a value of a large DKK double-digit million amount.
