Press release -

Keeping up with the Jones’ (or the Kardashians) - made easy!

Now the recently redeveloped website offers a wider product range and a more sophisticated back end capability matching user with Italian style with a simple click of the mouse. That doesn’t mean that the personal touch has gone, quite the contrary, it allows an even closer relationship with the client to be established. Helen Pendlebury, Director explains “Most people think of websites as being a detached from human experience or a virtual sales opportunity. It really doesn’t for us. By launching an intuitive website it allows us to really understand what our clients like, what they don’t like and how they want to express their style in the furniture and interiors within their home or holiday home. It brings us closer together and the end result is always a telephone call or face to face meet to really enhance the experience for the client. Our clients are much more discerning than those attracted by the mass bulk retailers. We sell select pieces to people that appreciate fine quality Italian furniture and interiors at the best prices. The same level of service goes to everyone whether buying a single piece or modelling a complete home”.

For some clients like Gerry and Judy Kennedy whose beautiful Chorley home is showcased in the photographs, there is simply nowhere else to go. Scossa is the obvious choice. Judi commented “I’ve always liked a little style in the home, even if it was just that one chair that we could afford at the time. Over the years though we have been fortunate to have had the help of Lee and Helen who have sourced, inspired and illuminated our home with some of the best Italian designer furniture available. It’s been a superb partnership that has created a beautiful, liveable home that reflects both mine and Gerry’s personality. The whole process is unique, whether via the new website or in person, you get the feeling they really care about matching the right furniture with the right person.” And it shows. Visit any of the homes where Scossa furniture has been bought and you’ll see the connection between home and furniture. It’s a statement of style- laid out for all to see.

The new website www.scossa.co.uk goes live today and showcases the new seasons range. The company started out in 2003 with a small line of quality products and have grown today to be one of the most highly respected and sought after Italian designer furniture and interior stylists in the UK.

Notes to Editors:

Scossa is a contemporary interiors store in Preston based in the North West of the UK and are a family run business established in 2003.

The business is based on a simple foundation, that when you phone or e-mail the store you will be speaking with the owners, Lee Stevenson and Helen Pendlebury, directly; giving a boutique lifestyle experience to every one of their clients.

Ultimately Scossa is a contemporary furniture and lighting retailer who stock design led products from major European companies for every room of your home and are able to source many products, which may not be on display or listed on their website, from an extensive range of contacts.

If you live within a 60 mile radius of the Preston based showroom then they offer a free home consultation to discuss your requirements.Alternatively an appointment can be arranged to visit the showroom out of opening hours.

Little known fact:

The name Scossa means Shock (or Jerk) not shop as believed. A fact their Italian best friend held back from them with great delight whilst helping Lee and Helen choose a name! It was only after the signage had been installed that he decided to tell them, by then of course it was too late and the name has been synonymous with great style ever since.
