New marketing talent helps Tomorrow People to look to the future

The Birmingham-based design consultancy has now added marketing assistant Sookie Shuen to its team of design and marketing experts.

As a Marketing MA graduate from Birmingham City University, Sookie has the varied range of expertise that today’s fast moving marketing environment demands.

Sookie first joined Tomorrow People through an internship and is delighted that this has now evolved into a permanent role within one of Birmingham’s leading design and marketing consultancies. Sookie, who is Malaysian-born Chinese, has been settled in the UK for the past four years, having completed a BEng in Electronics Engineering at the University of Hull before moving to Birmingham.

Sookie has an important part to play in the ongoing development of Tomorrow People. Her role includes everything from press release distribution and social media marketing to an active involvement in local initiatives such as Birmingham YMCA’s ambitious fundraising project.

Tomorrow People are also keen to strengthen their position within the creative industries and have recently been nominated for the Cream Awards Digital Web category as well as winning the Birmingham Invisible City Award in the Things That Make Me Proud category. Along with the rest of the team, Sookie is central to continuing this success story, as James Walters, Director at Tomorrow People explains:

“As specialists in digital design and online marketing, we’re focused on helping companies to stay ahead, even in more challenging economic times. By taking the lead on marketing our company, Sookie will allow us to help even more businesses to shine.”
