TOTALLYTWEEN CONSOLIDATES POSITION BY LISTENING TO ITS AUDIENCE

London, 7th September 2015: launched at the end of March this year, but after only 5 months of being live, TotallyTween www.totallytween.co.uk the unique, safe digital platform for pre-teen information and interaction, has got the thumbs up from its target audience, who are helping to shape its future.

TotallyTween’s moniker is “For Tweens By Tweens” and already, it has established a raft of roving tween reporters up and down the UK, to cover a host of hot events, premieres and exhibitions.

After initiating a series of focus groups over the summer holidays, TotallyTween has just launched a new cool, contemporary home page and ramped up its magazine content where all editorial reflects the needs and requests of its super savvy audience.

A share function has been added so that older audience members can send their favourite articles to friends; a line-up of games have been launched on the platform; and the TT design studio area has a new range of pocket money-friendly items including selfie posters, phone cases, key rings, pencil cases and make-up bags, which can be self-designed.

The platform continues to build and nurture strong relationships with the major film, TV, music and publishing companies and their respective agencies, who often provide first-look and exclusive content.

As summer rolls into autumn, TotallyTween will unveil expansion plans for its YouTube channel, it will run polls on-site to gauge and share what’s hot and what’s not, and increase its music, fashion, hair, beauty, nail-art and ‘how-to’ content.

TotallyTween was founded by Berkshire parents and businesswomen, Clare Vincent a business and marketing specialist who spent more than 20 years in TV, and Gina Walter, a former London Stock Exchange marketing executive.Commenting on the success of the platform so far, they said: “We’re building this brand from scratch, with over 23,000 unique users on the site after 5 months, an expanding YouTube Channel hosting user generated content and an ever growing social media presence, we are delighted that our audience has really taken to our offering. We’re now using the results of our summer focus groups to give them more of what they want.”
