TEDxAlmedalen is returning to Visby

Named the best seminar during the Almedalen Week 2010, TEDxAlmedalen returns again this year. The event will take place on 7th of July and this year’s theme will be The Doers.

After a successful event last year TEDxAlmedalen will take place again in Visby, Sweden. The event is a joint effort by Greatness PR and Twingly and will occur as a private midnight session between 9pm to 12pm in an inner courtyard in Visby.

“I am TEDx-addicted and proud of last year’s event. The theme for TEDxAlmedalen 2010 was How to get followers, fans and friends. This year we push it forward and are welcoming the people who really makes a difference and not just talking about it”, says Joanna Sundström, Creative Director Greatness PR.

The Almedalen Week is a unique meeting point for politicians, debaters, organisations, lobbyists, journalists and entrepreneurs where speech and conversation is fundamental but who is it that really makes a difference? Debates and discussions are important but for TEDxAlmedalen the focus will be on those who transform words into action – The Doers .

“I look forward to enjoying the same wonderful atmosphere I felt last year again”, says co- initiator Anton Johansson. “It’s amazing how great people, interesting talks and a warm summer night can be so inspiring.”
