A Rewarding Few Days

It's been a very busy couple of weeks at Vernons, what with the launch of our TV advertising campaign and what not. Last week we also launched a competition on Facebook, to support the TV campaign; the "Attention Britain Quiz".

Whilst the competition ran for a week, (it has now closed though we do intend to keep up the activity on our Facebook page) we had a quirky daily quiz question that put our fans to the test with their knowledge of our British culture. Each day we selected three winners at random and prizes included Amazon Kindles, footballs signed by Alan Hansen and even a grand prize of a Nintendo 3DS.

Whilst it was a fun competition to work on, the best bit was delivering the news to winners and hearing just how happy they were.

Nintendo 3DS grand prize winner – Sarah-Louise Bailey from Lichfield, Staffordshire “I am honestly speechless, thank you so, so much! I would love to have the 3DS! In fact, my other half, who has been after one for forever, is at the moment dancing around the living room!!”

Amazon Kindle winner – Alice Boardman from Chorley, Lancashire “Wow!! Are you serious?!  AN AMAZON KINDLE! I am made up....thank you!! Delighted with it!”
