Comedy Rocks Alderney - Week Two

On the Island of Alderney The Georgian House are delighted to host COMEDY ROCKS for a second year! 2016 gave the tiny Channel Island of Alderney the first ever comedy event of this kind and 2017 will be even bigger and better! Get ready for a side-splitting 3-week festival featuring 6 of the UK’s best stand-up comedians live on Alderney! On the 25th & 26th July we welcome Nick Doody to Alderney who is sharing the bill with Chris Martin (not the bloke from Coldplay!). Nick has been performing comedy since the 90s when he got off to a great start by supporting the legendary Bill Hicks and he was the first British comedian to ever perform in Croatia! He has penned jokes for Joan Rivers, Lenny Henry & Dame Edna Everage as well as a number of Mock The Week regulars. Chris embarked on his own sell-out tour in 2013 after supporting Russel Kane and Jack Whitehall. It’s easy to see why the Guardian said he is “one of the best observationalists” in Britain and The Times tipped him for “greatness”.
