Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber Introducers New Board Members


Austin, Texas (April 4, 2013) – The Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GAHCC) announces the addition of five area executives from the business community to serve on the board of directors. The board is chaired by Geronimo Rodriguez, vice president of diversity and community outreach with Seton Healthcare Family.
 
New board members will be introduced at Celebrando Austin, the Chamber’s 40th annual gala, on Saturday, April 6. Additionally, all members of the 2013 board of directors will be presented to attendees at the event.
 
“The addition of these new board members significantly enhances our board expertise in key areas including economic development, education, advocacy, and entrepreneurship,” said Andy Martinez, president/CEO, GAHCC. “We welcome the diverse perspectives and experience which these accomplished professionals bring to the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber.”
 
New members of the 2013 board are:
Rudy Garza, president/CEO, GarzaBury, LLC
John D. Holmes, vice president, Freescale Semiconductor
Mark Masten, president, North Austin Market, Wells Fargo
Dr. Richard Rhodes, president/CEO, Austin Community College
Reid Ryan, founder, president, and CEO, Ryan Sanders Baseball, LP
