News  •  Dec 04, 2013 08:00 EST

New for 2013 is a live feed from the Nobel Banquet Speeches at the Stockholm City Hall, available to international broadcasters on December 10.  Amongst the speeches confirmed for 2013 is that of Professor Peter Higgs, Nobel Laureate in Physics 2013.

The Associated Press Television News, APTN, is taking the live feed from rights holder Nobel Media and making the speeches available to its subscribers. Traditionally, a Laureate from each Nobel Prize category makes a speech at the Nobel Banquet, in the Stockholm City Hall.

The Nobel Banquet speeches are part of a longer Nobel Banquet program produced by SVT, Swedish Public Television, and due to start at 21:00 GMT on December 10.  SVT also produce the Nobel Prize Award Ceremony program which has always been available as an international live feed.

For more information about accessing the Banquet speeches feed if you are not an APTN subscriber, please contact broadcast@nobelmedia.se or call +46 (0) 8 663 61 36 by December 7.
