Eric Prydz storms to the top of the Shazam Tag Chart
London, 14 July 2008 - With more than one million tracks Tagged each week by Shazam users; the world's leading mobile to web music services provider, Shazam unveils a weekly UK Top 40 Tag Chart - a strong indicator of future hit singles.
This week, Swedish DJ/producer Eric Prydz enters the chart at number one with his upcoming single Pjanoo. Not set for official release until September 2008, the dance track is already proving a hit in clubs across Europe and looks set to be the biggest tune of Ibiza this summer.
Also featuring highly in the Shazam Tag Chart this week is Evanescence's 2004 hit, My Immortal after featuring in an episode of teen soap Hollyoaks. Making up the top five are DJ Ironik, Kid Rock, Madcon and Jordin Sparks.
Shazam's chart for Monday 7th July to Monday 14th July 2008 is based on thousands of music fans across the UK using the Shazam to 'Tag' their favourite tunes with their mobile phone.
