今天推出的车载3节~6节电池监视用保护IC「S-19193系列」，具备车载电池的过充电和过放电监视功能，是应对ISO26262(※1)开发制程的产品。
通过使用「S-19193系列」，即使在以往的监视系统(一次保护系统)发生故障时，也可以作为二次保护系统继续进行电池监视工作，这样也可应对故障运行(Fault operational)、故障降级(Fault degraded)，实现更高安全性能的BMS。
