ABLIC推出面向智能手机、可穿戴设备的1节电池保护IC「S-821A/1B系列」 - 通过正端保护,确保钢壳电池的安全性和可靠性 -
美蓓亚三美株式会社(MinebeaMitsumi Inc.) 旗下的艾普凌科有限公司(总裁:田中诚司,总部地址:东京都港区,下称“ABLIC”)今天推出使用N沟道MOSFET(※1)实现正端保护(※2)的1节电池保护IC「S-821A/1B系列」。
今天推出的新产品「S-821A/1B系列」是1节锂离子电池保护IC,具有以下特点:(1)通过将进行充放电控制的N沟道MOSFET配置在锂离子电池的正极侧(正端),实现切断电池正极侧电流路径的保护方式,同时,电池组侧和系统侧的共地为简化系统设计做出贡献。另外,由于内置有业界最高等级的3倍升压充电泵,所以N沟道MOSFET的驱动电压高,降低了N沟道MOSFET的导通电阻;(2)备有业界顶级精度的放电过电流保护(3段),能够在安全的领域切断异常电流;(3)过充电检测电压精度为±15mV,实现业界顶级的高精度化;(4)通过节电功能,在禁止电池放电的同时,将保护IC的消耗电流降低到最大50nA,将电池的消耗电流抑制为近乎于0;(5)通过将NTC热敏电阻与热敏电阻连接端子(TH端子)连接,能够实现过热保护功能。
