Al Khazan Park reopens with a more eco-friendly vibe

GULF NEWS: The newly revamped Al Khazan Park, located between the first interchange on Shaikh Zayed Road and Al Wasl Road, has been revamped and is now entirely powered by solar energy systems. The whole park uses sustainable natural and artistic elements that echo Dubai’s approach to preserving nature. Brand Dubai, a subsidiary of the Government of Dubai Media Office, in collaboration with Dubai Municipality, gave the park a facelift as part of the ‘Dubai Speaks to you’ initiative that aims to highlight the unique characteristics of Dubai as a culturally diverse city. While the greenery has yet to take root at the park’s grounds, visitors can take advantage of the benches that have been placed at the park to mimic a life-size photo frame.
