Press release -
Smarter Video Analytics and Easier Operations with Agama 11
Linköping, Sweden, September 11, 2025 – Agama, the expert in video observability & analytics for service quality and customer experience, announced today the launch of 11, the newest version of its Video Observability and Analytics platform.
The Agama release 11 brings practical updates aimed at reducing operational complexity and improving service insight across the full video delivery chain. The release focuses on faster fault resolution, stronger observability for dynamic ad-insertion, and easier access to analytics through natural language assistance.
Key highlights in Agama 11:
- Service health and root cause analysis makes it easier to identify and prioritize the most critical incidents, shortening time-to-fix and minimizing viewer impact.
- Android TV Blueprint provides a guided approach to integrating the Agama client on modern Android TV platforms, accelerating integration projects, reducing risk, and delivering richer device telemetry.
- Dynamic ad-insert observability provides end-to-end monitoring of ad insertion across the playout chain. With detailed SCTE-35 event tracking, visualization and correlation from mezzanine, transcoding, and ABR packaging ensure full transparency.
- A2I - Agama Augmented Intelligence is enriched with an AI chat helping with tasks such as answering complex questions and creating summaries of video performance and system status. A dashboard builder is also available to help custom dashboards based on user needs and requirements, helping experts and non-experts alike access insights more easily.
In addition, enhanced observability delivers real-time presentation of subtitles and SCTE35 event and live audio playback directly in the browser, while enhanced analytics introduces funnel analysis to help teams quickly identify friction and drive viewer retention. New Microsoft Entra integration enables secure enterprise authentication, and external AI system integration using Model Context Protocol (MCP) allows completely novel tools to be created based on Agama metrics and insights.
“Release 11 is designed to make everyday operations easier, smarter, and more effective for our customers,” said Johan Görsjö, Product and Engineering Director at Agama. “We have added practical tools that expand visibility from stream health to ad-insertion events, while also making advanced analytics accessible to more teams,” he added.
Version 11 will be showcased during IBC 2025, at Agama stand 1.B50. Book a demo with Agama experts.
