AkzoNobel to optimize European paper chemicals supply chain

AkzoNobel’s Pulp and Performance Chemicals business (formerly Eka Chemicals), today announced plans to optimize its European supply chain for paper chemicals. To be a more efficient and competitive supplier, AkzoNobel will consolidate its manufacturing in Europe. This will lead to a closure of the sizing manufacturing sites in Trollhättan and Borås, both in Sweden.
