Efterfrågan på AkzoNobels mikrosfärer är på stark frammarsch på global nivå och Expancel, ett varumärke inom AkzoNobel, ska behålla sin spetsposition på den marknaden. Under 2011 satsade AkzoNobel över 300 miljoner kronor på produktions-anläggningen för mikrosfärer i Stockvik utanför Sundsvall. Målet är att växa, och idag invigs den utbyggda fabriken.
