ALBIS PLASTICS CORPORATION acquires the remaining shares in ALBIS Barnet Polymers

Hamburg, October 17, 2017. On October 1, 2017, ALBIS PLASTICS CORPORATION acquired the remaining shares in ALBIS Barnet Polymers LLC. The joint venture with William Barnet & Son, LLC, which has its headquarters in Duncan (South Carolina, USA), was founded on September 1, 2016. ALBIS PLASTICS CORPORATION already held a majority share in the company, which specializes in the recycling of post-industrial raw materials.

From 2018 the activities of ALBIS Barnet Polymers LLC will be integrated completely into ALBIS PLASTICS Corporation. "Our strategy is to have one face to the customer. Therefore, in the future all our activities in the Americas will be consolidated under the ALBIS umbrella," explains Stefan Fuhlendorf, Regional Sales Director Americas at ALBIS PLASTIC.
