Fresita gets a new look

The Nordic favourite, Chilean sparkling wine Fresita, has got a new look. The bottle has been renewed to resemble the sophisticated taste of the drink. In addition the Fresita label has been redesigned and a new, lightly rose-colored capsule has been introduced.

The newly designed Fresita will roll out to Altia markets during spring 2014. In Finland, Fresita sold over 450 000 bottles in 2013, holding the third place on the combined list of sparkling and aromatized wines in retail. In Sweden Fresita is the second largest in its category on the market. Altia represents the Chilean bestseller also in Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Norway and Travel Retail.

About Fresita

Fresita is a blend of Chilean sparkling wine and natural handpicked strawberries. The wine is a blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Moscatel; each variety is fermented separately to create the still wines that will be then blended and will undergo a second fermentation to obtain the final extra dry sparkling wine base of Fresita. Finally small, freshly-picked, intensely flavored Patagonian strawberries (from the foot of the Andes) are added to the natural sparkling wine.

The result is a fruity, fresh and delicious all natural sparkling wine with only 8% alcohol. The color and appearance is deep, luscious, and salmon pink with strawberry pulp floating in the wine. This full of intensity, strawberry sweet, refreshing wine is best served chilled and perfect by itself or alongside hors d’oeuvres and desserts.
