Altia continues as exclusive distributor of Brown-Forman’s brands in Nordics

Altia and Brown-Forman have renewed their cooperation regarding the import and distribution of alcohol beverages in Sweden, Finland and Norway. Under the agreement, Altia will continue as Brown-Forman’s exclusive representative in retail and HoReCa sales in these countries.

Brown-Forman is one of the leading spirits companies globally whose most renowned brands include Finlandia Vodka and Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey. Brown-Forman’s Woodford Reserve Whiskey was launched in Sweden and Norway last year. This year Woodford Reserve will also be launched in Finland, and it will be available in retail and HoReCa sale.

Altia operates in six Nordic and Baltic countries: Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Estonia and Latvia. Additionally, Altia is one of the biggest operators in the Nordic and Baltic Travel Retail market.

In addition to distribution, Altia and Brown-Forman have close co-operation in alcohol beverages production. As a contract producer, Altia is responsible for distilling and bottling Finlandia Vodka, the brand owned by Brown-Forman. Finlandia Vodka is distilled from Finnish barley by Altia only in Finland and distributed around the world.
