Magnificient design bottles for Chill Out in Fiskars Village summer exhibition

Chill Out Unique Art Collection is a collection of different hand-made packages for Chill Out Wines by independent artisans. The collection is part of Fiskars Village summer exhibition “Blurred Lines” 2014.

In cooperation with Altia, ONOMA, Cooperative of Artisans, Designers and Artists in Fiskars, and the creative communities of Arabia Art Department and Nuutajärvi Glass Village taking part in the exhibition have created magnificent handmade Chill Out wine bottles. The unique pieces include individual, mouth blown bottles, carafes, ceramics and handmade labels. The exhibition is curated by photographer Jani Kaila

Unique bottles were filled by hand at Altia’s Rajamäki plant

Designers Camilla Moberg and Markku Salo designed a special series of unique bottles for Altia. The bottles blown at Nuutajärvi were filled by hand at Altia’s Rajamäki plant with the Chill Out Delicate & Fruity Shiraz Rosé wine. Designer Lea Sarasjoki, who works at Fiskars Village, designed labels for the bottles, and they were printed on handmade paper made by art printer and papermaker Erja Huovila. The collection will be on display in the Blurred Lines exhibition 18 May–14 September 2014.

Additionally, a new Laundry Café Bar is opened in Fiskars Village. This old laundry room has been transferred into a charming coffee house with a nice terrace. Laundry Café Bar is open troughout the year and Chill Out wines are available in the bar.”
