Press release -

Swedish homelift company Aritco releases app with latest 3D technology to allow customers visualize homelifts in a real environment

- We have been selling homelifts all over the world for several years and we have seen that it has been quite difficult for homeowners to understand how a homelift gets in their particular home. Traditionally, we have used physical showrooms and demo lifts, but now we wanted to do something simpler that works from home. By combining 3D technology and Augmented Reality, we managed to create a virtual homelift that via your tablet stand out in your room, just as it stood there for real. You can change the options, open doors, zoom, etc. as it was for real. It actually becomes incredibly realistic, says Ardalan Rahimi Balov, IT Architect at Aritco .

The app, based on the game engine Unity, also has a feature that lets you import photos from your house. In the app you can then move around the homelift in the photo, twist and turn it and change the options. One unique thing is that the homelift automatically maintains the proper perspective in relation to the room. You may even see the shadows and reflections of the outdoor light and toys on the floor. This feature can also be used directly on the company website www.aritcohomelifts.com

- Augmented Reality has obviously come to stay, but we feel that very few companies understand how to utilize it so that it becomes relevant for their customers. With Aritco3D we think we have created something that really helps our customers. A homelift is a big decision so one would of course like to understand how it will look like at home, says Maria Alriksson, Marketing Manager at Aritco .

Aritco3D can be downloaded for free in Appstore and Android market
