Press Release: Assmann Appoints New Head of Electrical Wholesale Sales: David Schweinberger Becomes Sales Director Electrical Wholesale

Assmann Electronic GmbH is restructuring its personnel in the specialty retail division. Since April 1, 2026, David Schweinberger has been responsible for this division of the company as Director of Electrical Wholesale. In this role, he is responsible for expanding the electrical wholesale business and will focus on acquiring new customers and further developing existing partnerships.

David Schweinberger has extensive experience at the intersection of technology and sales. After starting his career in automation technology, the state-certified electrical engineer (Bachelor Professional in Electrical Engineering) shifted his focus to sales early on. At the same time, he successfully completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sales & Management.

Most recently, he worked at the technology group Schneider Electric, where he was responsible for the electrical wholesale business of the market-leading brand APC within the Secure Power division. As Head of Sales ET/OT Channel DACH, he successfully led the expansion of the partner business and the growth of sales structures.

At Assmann Electronic, his focus is not only on further developing the wholesale business but also, in particular, on expanding the project business and offering enhanced solutions for high-performance IT infrastructures to meet the growing needs of data centers. The purpose is to enhance sales processes and make them even more efficient through the use of AI. Furthermore, his stated goal is to address customer needs even more precisely, to position Assmann’s service portfolio more strongly in the market, and to expand it internationally.
