The independent GHMT-PVP certification confirms compliance with Category 6A requirements at the component level. This verifies the performance of the Keystone module for high-performance network cabling up to 10-Gigabit Ethernet, regardless of a fixed permanent link configuration.

Another hallmark of quality is the 100-percent inspection of every single printed circuit board during the production process, which ensures consistently high transmission performance. This quality concept is supplemented by regular independent spot checks as part of the GHMT-PVP certification. Rugged, shielded design

The fully shielded die-cast zinc housing with 360-degree shielding contacts protects data transmission from electromagnetic interference. Its compact design allows for flexible use in suitable patch panels and modular jacks, as well as the installation of two Keystone modules in compatible dual jacks. These jacks can be integrated into various switch lines. The module is designed for at least 1,000 mating cycles and an operating temperature range of -40 to +70 °C to ensure long-term, stable network performance.

Support for applications using 4PPoE

The module is suitable for use in cabling runs with 4PPoE in accordance with IEEE 802.3bt Type 4. This Power over Ethernet (PoE) standard enables the simultaneous transmission of data and electrical power over all four wire pairs of an Ethernet cable (4PPoE), thereby laying the foundation for high-performance network applications with centralized power supply.

Tool-free installation

The Keystone module was designed for simple, secure, and tool-free installation. Color coding according to T568A and T568B, the Wire Manager a guide for correctly inserting the wires as well as the integrated cable holder and strain relief facilitate installation. The Wire Manager can be reopened and reused as needed. This allows for later corrections or new wiring configurations.
