The Rural BioReFarmeries Consortium officially kicked off the project in December 2024 at Munster Technological University's campus in Cork, Ireland.

New EU initiative aims to transform grass into high value products

The Rural BioReFarmeries initiative, funded by CBE JU, aims to develop regional biorefineries in European grassland areas. It seeks to convert grass into high-value products, benefiting farmers, rural communities, and advancing the circular bioeconomy over the next four years.
