BACHMANN Group Appoints Steen Sørensen as Co-CEO
Stuttgart, Germany – July 2026 – The BACHMANN Group announces the appointment of Steen Sørensen as Co-CEO, strengthening the company’s leadership team as it enters its next phase of international growth, customer focus and innovation. The appointment was officially announced by Peter Bachmann during the company’s international Community Exchange.
With this step, the BACHMANN Group reinforces its commitment to delivering even greater value to customers and partners worldwide. The expanded leadership structure is designed to accelerate decision-making, strengthen customer proximity, and further enhance the company’s ability to respond to rapidly evolving market requirements.

Steen Sørensen brings more than two decades of international leadership experience in business development, sales, digital transformation and executive management. Prior to joining BACHMANN, he served as CEO of Ubiqisense, where he played a key role in positioning the company as a leading provider of occupancy analytics solutions. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership positions at Encodify, Experian Plc, SAS Institute and SPSS, now part of IBM.
As Co-CEO, Sørensen will focus on strengthening customer and partner relationships, advancing BACHMANN’s international market activities and supporting the continued evolution of the company’s commercial organization. Working closely with teams across the globe, he will help ensure that customers benefit from faster decision-making, closer collaboration and solutions that are increasingly aligned with their evolving needs.
