From professional environments to the home: BACHMANN presents the HOME Collection

With GROOVE, NANO and DOT, BACHMANN transfers its expertise in integrated power and connectivity solutions to private living spaces.

Stuttgart, October 26th 2026. Working, communicating, charging, cooking or relaxing: electrical and digital devices are now used across many different rooms and situations at home. As a result, the requirements for power supply are changing as well. Connections need to be accessible and flexible while integrating naturally into the living environment.

This is where BACHMANN's HOME Collection comes in. The company is transferring experience and solution approaches from professional applications into private living spaces. The principles established in offices, furniture integration and other professional environments also provide the starting point for the HOME Collection: integrating power and charging functions in a way that supports how a space is used while fitting into its surroundings.

With GROOVE, NANO and DOT, BACHMANN brings three products together under the HOME Collection umbrella. Each addresses a different requirement, but all follow the same principle: power supply is considered as part of the use case, rather than simply as a technical necessity.

GROOVE: positioning power where it is used

Within the HOME Collection, GROOVE stands for flexibility. The compact multi-socket solution combines conventional power with USB-C charging and can be positioned on suitable surfaces using an integrated magnetic surface. A magnetic adhesive pad extends this concept to non-magnetic surfaces, enabling GROOVE to be used at desks, in kitchens and in living areas.

In this way, GROOVE transfers a principle familiar from professional environments into the home: instead of a permanently installed socket determining where devices can be used, power becomes more closely aligned with the individual application.

NANO: making power and charging part of the interior

NANO takes a different approach. The freestanding solution combines a power socket, 45-watt USB-C charger and Qi2 wireless charger in one compact unit. Smartphones, notebooks and other devices can therefore be supplied from a central point.

Rather than concealing the power supply, NANO is designed for visible use. It can be positioned on a desk or in other living and working areas without requiring permanent installation.

It is here that the connection between professional and private environments becomes particularly apparent: living and working increasingly take place in the same spaces. The technical infrastructure needs to respond accordingly.

DOT: flexibility beyond the nearest socket

DOT adds mobile reach to the Collection. The compact cable reel provides three power sockets and stores the cable again after use. In addition to indoor spaces, it is intended for protected outdoor areas such as covered terraces and balconies.

DOT therefore addresses situations in which power is temporarily required at another location. Different cable lengths extend the operating radius without requiring cables to remain permanently visible after use.

One area of expertise, new living spaces

GROOVE, NANO and DOT deliberately differ in their functions and applications. Together, however, they demonstrate the thinking behind the HOME Collection: BACHMANN approaches power supply from the perspective of how it is actually used and is now applying this expertise more consistently to private living spaces.

“Our experience in professional environments has given us a detailed understanding of the requirements for functional and well-integrated power supply. At the same time, we are seeing many of these requirements becoming increasingly relevant in the home. With the HOME Collection, we are transferring that experience to private living spaces, creating solutions that combine functionality, flexibility and design.”, says Daniel Stuckert, Head of Global Marketing at BACHMANN.

With the HOME Collection, BACHMANN is therefore doing more than extending its offering with solutions for the home. The Collection creates a link between two areas that are increasingly converging in everyday life: professional requirements for electrical infrastructure on the one hand and living, working and digital use on the other.
