Press release -
BARTEC ComEx flex
Meeting the demands of machine and plant engineering for more flexible solutions in control systems, BARTEC has further developed its proven control stations for Ex areas. The ComExflex system consists of four different control and display units for front attachment, all with clamps and a separate enclosure.
The units are designed for use with elements in potentially explosive areas in zones 1 and 21, as well as zones 2 and 22. The separately available, increased safety enclosure provides users with the option of installing the control and display units independently, subject to the specific conditions of explosion-protected areas. The function modules no longer have to be used with separately approved standard controls of increased safety requirements. This greatly simplifies maintenance work.
The simple installation of almost all cables and leads is ensured by the large Ex e enclosure and the one-hand fastening option of the bayonet system. The application using control and display units and the enclosure has the lowest installation depth on the market.
The control and display series can be used in a temperature range from -55°C to +60°C and has a long mechanical life.
