Unipol and BEWI RAW have officially merged – forming BEWI RAW, Europe’s most forward-thinking supplier of expandable polystyrene. With four European factories and an annual capacity of 400,000 tonnes, BEWI RAW combines cost-effectiveness with scale, service, and innovation.

Grey EPS: performance and efficiency at scale
One of the company’s key focus areas is grey EPS, where BEWI RAW now operates one of the largest dedicated capacities in Europe. With over 140,000 tonnes of grey material annually – and one of the sites fully converted to grey-only production – the company is scaling fast to meet increasing demand for certified, circular, and performance-driven EPS.
Among the latest additions is Suspension Grey, now in full production, with an annual capacity of 70,000 tonnes. Designed for consistency, quality, and regulatory readiness, it is developed to help converters meet customer demands while preparing for stricter legislation across Europe.
Certified recycled EPS – future-proof by design
BEWI RAW also leads the market with its CREPS (Certified Recycled EPS) offer – combining actual recycled content with mass balance certification, verified through RedCert2. This gives customers in regulated markets a unique opportunity to reduce fossil-based content, avoid plastic-related taxation, and meet circular procurement requirements – all without compromising on quality or performance.
Service that goes beyond supply
BEWI RAW’s offer goes beyond products.
