BKtech Among Sweden’s Top 50 Fastest-Growing Impact Companies

BKtech has been recognized as one of Sweden’s fastest-growing impact companies, according to the newly released report by Impact Loop. BKtech grew its revenue by 21% in 2024 – a year marked by economic uncertainty across Europe – and did so within one of the most progressive and fast-moving areas of the Swedish impact economy: green industry..

Published on 24 September 2025, the Impact Report 2025 analyses financial statements from more than 1,000 Swedish impact-driven companies. BKtech ranks among the top 50 on year-on-year revenue growth – from SEK 258.7 million in 2023 to SEK 312.3 million in 2024, representing a 21% increase.

The report also highlights green industry – the segment in which BKtech operates – as the fastest-growing vertical in the Swedish economy.

– This recognition confirms that our solution meets a real and growing need. Industrial players know they must move away from fossil fuels, but the path forward needs to be secure, flexible, and economically viable. That’s what drives our growth,” says Jan Vikström, CEO of BKtech.

BKtech designs and delivers modular Energy Centres that use wood pellets or wood powder to produce process steam for industries with high demands on performance – such as food producers, laundries, and corrugated packaging manufacturers. BKtech’s offer combines robust engineering with business models designed to reduce transition risk – including the Green Steam on Demand concept, where customers pay per MWh of delivered steam.

– Transitioning away from fossil fuels isn’t just about replacing a boiler – it’s about eliminating risk. That’s why we’ve built our offer around flexibility, performance, and long-term partnerships,” says Anton Berggren, Head of Business Development at BKtech.
