Renegades complete the line-up for BLAST Pro Series Los Angeles

When BLAST Pro Series on 13-14 July debuts the “closer than ever” Front Row format in Los Angeles the line-up includes all the best Counter-Strike teams from US, the Brazilian legends from MIBR and Renegades, owned by NBA star Jonas Jerebko.

Renegades complete the team line-up of BLAST Pro Series Los Angeles where they will play against the world’s number 1 and leaders of the BLAST Pro Series 2019 season, Team Liquid, as well as FaZe Clan, Cloud9 and NRG (all US based) and Brazilian legends MIBR. 

Each team has a chance to lift the trophy and win 125,000 USD of the 250,000 Prize Pool.

- With the addition of Renegades we present some of the very best teams from 3 continents, including the world’s number 1 from Team Liquid. The Front Row Experience of BLAST in LA is world-class Counter-Strike in a format that brings the fans and viewers up close with all the action and the star players, says Jordi Roig.

The Front Row format includes an open production with exclusive access to talent studios, media zones, back-stage area, team- and performance areas bringing the fans much closer to the players, talent, media and production than ever before.

The tournament is open to the public both Saturday and Sunday, where the top 4 teams will battle it out in two Bo3 semi finals to reach the Grand Final of BLAST Pro Series Los Angeles on Sunday night.

- BLAST is all about bringing world-class Counter-Strike to the fans in new and entertaining ways. We’ve created some huge arena set-ups in major venues, but also wanted to bring the fans much closer to everything. The idea behind Front Row is something we’ve talked about for a while; to do something immersive, intimate and really inclusive as this.

- When we saw the way ticket sales in LA was very focussed around the most exclusive BLAST Zone tickets, and we had the opportunity to give all ticket holders a new, close and exclusive experience, we took the opportunity to tweak the experience, changed the set-up to let more people in to this more inclusive show. It’s like moving a stadium concert with your favourite artist to a more intimate setting. Same artist, same songs, same performance, just much closer. It’s all the glamour and the whoa-feeling of a BLAST Pro Series event, just much more intimate, Estrup says.

FaZe Clan won the first US version of BLAST Pro Series in Miami. The team can win it's second BLAST Pro Series title in Los Angeles.

BLAST Pro Series also have joined forces with Asking Alexandria as the official music partner of the Los Angeles tournament. The band recorded a rock version of the BLAST theme in anticipation of the LA tournament. Their single, “When The Lights Comes On” will play as the official theme song of the Los Angeles event.
