Blueair Professional launched at Asia Hotel Forum
Shanghai 28 March 2018: Today Blueair, a world-leader in air purification solutions, launched Blueair Professional to meet consumer demands for clean air in hotels, restaurants, gyms, offices and other public areas. The Blueair Professional service offering is based on Blueair’s 20 years of experience in developing state-of-the art air purifiers for home and on-the-go-use.
Recent research shows that there is a growing awareness and concern among consumers about indoor air pollution. With indoor air being up to five times more polluted than outdoor air, and the fact that people spend 90% of their time indoors, it comes as no surprise that 8 out of 10 people worry about the quality of the air they breathe, according to a survey carried out for Blueair by independent UK research firm Bonamy Finch.
“We see a strong, unmet consumer need for clean air in hotels, restaurants and gyms”, said Maggie Chan, General Manager of Blueair China while speaking at the Asia Hotel Forum in Shanghai. “The worry about breathing clean” is particularly relevant for the hotel industry with 7 out of 10 people reporting sleeping problems and low energy levels caused by indoor air pollution”.
Chan continued “We see that hotels offering guests clean air services, increase customer satisfaction, return guests and TripAdvisor ratings” noting that “Blueair is proud to be launching its new service offering Blueair Professional at Asia Hotel Forum”.
