Blueair Strengthens Global Marketing Capabilities To Capitalize on Growing Concern About Indoor Air Quality

Stockholm, July 15, 2015 – With the global air purification market forecast to grow by up to 14 percent through 2020, indoor air purifier maker Blueair is aggressively strengthening its executive marketing leadership team. The company is excited to announce that Ms. Annika Waller has been appointed Blueair’s first global Chief Marketing Officer.

“Blueair has built an excellent reputation as an international market leader in indoor air purification, winning many accolades for its technology and design, and today ranking one of the fastest growing companies in its homeland, Sweden,” said Bengt Rittri, founder and CEO of Blueair.

Reporting directly to Mr. Rittri. Annika Waller will be a member of the Blueair Executive Committee with responsibility for all aspects of brand, marketing and communication across the Blueair organization globally. Her mandate is to drive the Blueair brand's ongoing international expansion and to enhance the global brand team.

Mr. Rittri said: “I am delighted that we have been able to recruit someone of Annika’s experience to what is a new and important role to expand the strength and reach of the Blueair brand. By creating this position, we are sending a clear message about how we plan to do business going forward and it backs our intent to firmly position Blueair as the number one air purifying company in the world.

Ms. Waller brings a wealth of experience to the new CMO role at Blueair, including most recently as head of Sales and Marketing, Business Development at Blueair China. Previously, she enjoyed an illustrious 25-year career with a leading global white goods corporation, where she held a strategic mix of marketing, consumer insight innovation, business strategy, and innovation and process management roles.
