    BookBeat launches in the Netherlands and Belgium

    BookBeat, one of the largest streaming services for audiobooks in Europe, has launched in the Netherlands and Belgium. The launch will give users on the two markets access to the service in Dutch and will include more than 500 000 audiobooks and e-books.

    BookBeat launches in Norway

    Today, BookBeat launches in Norway. During the fall, negotiations have been ongoing with the major local publishers and the service has been translated into Norwegian. In a short time, the users will be offered a catalogue with more than 500 000 audio- and e-books.

    BookBeat’s paying users grew by 47% in the third quarter of 2021


    BookBeat’s revenue has during the first three quarters of the year increased by 39% in relation to the same period of 2020. The number of paying users was by the end of the third quarter 47% higher compared to the same time in 2020.

    BookBeat reaches 500 000 paying users


    The strong growth continues for BookBeat. In June, the milestone of 500 000 paying users was reached, just five years after the first broad launch in the spring of 2016. The majority is located in Sweden, Finland and Germany, which each are markets with more than 100 000 paying users.
