Boråstapeter wins Plaza Interiör’s design award for “Wallpaper Collection of the Year - 2018”

The wallpaper collection, In Bloom from Boråstapeter, captures flowers shining in all their splendour and diversity. Depicting everything from classic roses and trendy peonies through to wild bouquets, the collection has been awarded Plaza Interiör’s design award for Wallpaper Collection of the Year, 2018.

The motivation for the award reads: “A complete declaration of love for the flower. In the collection, In Bloom, there are blooming patterns for all tastes: from the magnificent to the simple, both in colour palette and pattern. We simply want to dive into the classic flower beds and wild meadows “

Floral patterns have always been some of our most popular patterns, perhaps explained by a flower’s uplifting and physical proof that beauty will always return after a long and cold winter.

- I am incredibly happy and proud to receive this great prize for a collection that has a special place in my heart. In Bloom allows you to step into my own garden in some of the patterns I painted myself, as well as immerse yourself in our amazing archive from where many of the collection’s dazzling designs were chosen. In Bloom was a great collection to work with. For six months, the walls of the design studio were filled, from floor to ceiling, with many different and beautiful flowers. I think everyone here got a boost during the autumn dark when it entered the studio. A feeling we hope will now be enjoyed in many homes, says Jenny Hahne Gadd, designer Boråstapeter.

The collection consists of 13 patterns in different colours and was launched in April 2018.
