Detailed Newbie wallpaper design for children’s interiors!
In autumn 2019, Boråstapeter launched its collaboration with Newbie, presenting a stunning collection of wallpapers for nurseries, child bedrooms and play areas. Newbie is renowned for its magical motifs and gentle colourways inspiring play, adventures, dreams and bedtime stories. The original collection has now been expanded with six new wallpaper designs.
“Our collaboration was a success. Newbie’s design universe is all about caring attention to detail. The stories and the soft colours are the perfect match for Boråstapeter’s vision of creating wallpapers with timeless appeal. The collaboration also provides a unifying, holistic style for home interiors, and, not least, a caring approach to our youngest generation, who will be stimulated by these stunning motifs,” explains Sissa Sundling, Chief Designer at Boråstapeter.
The Forest Friends print, now a design classic, is due out now in two new on-trend colours – brown and steel blue. The wallpaper features foxes, hares, badgers and other wildlife peeking out from the forest vegetation. The new Minou design presents magical fauna in a forested fairytale of squirrels, rabbits, frogs and wood mice in amongst wild flora and toadstools. The wallpaper is printed using a technique accentuating the hues and transitions, and the fine texturing of the original watercolour design. Nomi is an expressive romantic rose motif that is virtually a signature element for Newbie, inspired by bygone wallpapers and soft furnishings. Imagine a classical motif of floral sprays in which the stunning rose patterning rambles gracefully over the walls against a creamy beige or pink background to stage a dream interior.
