Treasured – for the love of wallpaper

Boråstapeter launches the exclusive collection Treasured, which is dedicated to the love of wallpaper, for homes where the wall is the centrepiece. Selected wallpapers with expressive patterns in beautiful colours, from classically elegant to modern and playful. An eclectic mix that gives homes that little extra.

Our designer, Noomi Spange, found a treasure trove of patterns and has together with our senior designer, Ingela Wingborg, created the Treasured collection. Rooms upholstered in wallpaper chosen with passion and boundless appreciation for rich expressions. Patterns with depth and colours that flow in a generous collagraph print. We discover marble surfaces, trellis wallpapers, geometric shapes and meandering flowers. Pure and simple pattern joy across 40 expressive, bold wallpapers that give homes a lovely character.

“The collection was inspired by a 500-year-old woven tapestry at a museum in Scotland. So began a love that could not be held back. It led us into our own archives, where we found beautiful, old, forgotten patterns. And it inspired new designs, created out of a passion for soulful, playful, courageous design. We felt they just had to be created,” says Ingela Wingborg, Senior Designer, Boråstapeter.

Treasured will be launched in stores and online at the end of October 2021. All wallpapers are made in Boråstapeter's own factory in the textile city of Borås, where sustainability is in focus. Production is completely without hazardous substances and with the least possible environmental impact. All the paints used are water-based and paper is sourced from sustainable forestry in Northern Europe.
