WALLPAPERS BY SCANDINAVIAN DESIGNERS
We are very proud to be able to present timeless classic design wallpapers that everyone can decorate their walls with. These wallpapers are the result of a cooperation between Boråstapeter and Ljungbergs Textil and the revision of classic textile patterns from four of the 1950’s leading designers into modern wallpapers. We have brought together twelve characteristic and original patterns from these four design icons, a couple being real style surprises.
Wallpapers by Scandinavian Designers is a collection which takes a completely new look at the classic works which have shaped our Scandinavian heritage. Arne Jacobsen, Sven Markelius, Karl Axel Pehrson and Stig Lindberg used a pure and simple style in the 1950’s to fill Swedish and Danish homes with furniture, cutlery, ceramics, TV’s, children’s book illustrations and textile patterns. Their works are a part of our Scandinavian cultural history, are in great demand and are exclusive symbols of an epoch that only a few are lucky enough to have in their homes. Up until now.
The Wallpapers by Scandinavian Designers collection will be in the shops from 15 October. The collection includes 36 wallpapers.
