    This summer's international auction at Bruun Rasmussen in Copenhagen has just ended with an iconic auction of Russian art. With a World record on Russian icons and a total hammer price of DKK 27.6 million (€ 3.7 million / € 4.8 million including buyer's premium), auction history was made on Friday 9th June.

  • Harry Winston Bracelet Sold for DKK 510,000

    There were plenty of eager bidders at Thursday’s jewellery auction at Bruun Rasmussen in Copenhagen, where an elegant diamond bracelet from the "King of Diamonds" Harry Winston was sold for DKK 510,000. This is a Danish auction record for a bracelet, and at the same time it is the second highest hammer price for a piece of jewellery in the history of the auction house.

    The summer's international auction in Copenhagen began in style on Tuesday when we sold a unique picture book from 1868-69 by Hans Christian Andersen for DKK 2.9 million (€ 507,000 including buyer’s premium). This is a Danish auction record for a work by the world-famous Danish author.

    The first international auction at Bruun Rasmussen in Copenhagen was kicked off in style on Tuesday! A study for P.S. Krøyer’ final masterpiece, the iconic “Midsummer Eve Bonfire on Skagen Beach” (1903), was sold for DKK 4.3 million and a classic Danish Golden Age painting by C.V. Eckersberg from Rome (1819) was sold to the art museum ARoS for DKK 1.5 million.
