Bulls Licensing announces prestige Beatles deal with Efva Attling jewelry

It all began with a handwritten letter from the Art Director of Bulls Licensing to the iconic Swedish artist and designer Efva Attling to inquire about whether she’d be interested in designing jewelry inspired by The Beatles’ music, particulary using their song-titles.

Attling, a life-long Beatles fan, loved the proposal and in November 2015 a capsule collection consisting of 14 different pieces was unveiled. The collec- tion made of silver and gold with sparkling Herkimer stones and includes pieces for both men and women. The collection was a stunning success with a total retail value of 635.000$ and exceeded the expectations of both Bulls Licensing (Nordic agent for the Beatles) and Efva Attling.

”We couldn ́t predict the success – it ́s fantastic! Because of the huge demand we now have a two-month-long waiting list.” – Efva Attling. In the same way as the Beatles combined their catchy music with poignant lyrics,

Attling is a master of combining her beautiful creations with a deeper meaning. The brand’s tagline is ”Beauty with a thought” and her jewelry is often a statement against the injustices currently plaguing our world. Today her company boasts seven Efva Attling stores (one in New York’s Meatpacking District), 103 retailers in Sweden and 81 retailers across the globe.

The perfect alignment between the values of the brands has been the contributing factor to the com- mercial success. Both of the brands have the core values of faith, hope, love, peace and a strong focus on humanity. Attling has with simple means created a beautiful and meaningful high-end jewelry collection inspired by The Beatles.

In the end: it’s only love!

About Efva Attling

Efva Attling has lived a multitude of incredible lives before returning to her original passion of jewelry making. Quite the star in her native Stockholm, Efva is recognized for her work as a model, her music, and her magazine industry stint. Efva made her first piece of jewelry when she was eleven years old. At the age of sixteen she was a pupil of one of Sweden’s greatest silversmiths, Bengt Liljedahl. Eileen Ford spotted Efva at the age of seventeen and a twelve-year modeling career began. Having music in her family and in her heart Efva next started a band in 1981 called the X Models. The band had a hit ballad ”Two of us” in the 1980’s that Efva composed.

In 1996 Efva returned to where she once started, working with silver, gold and precious stones. Efva Attling opened her own workshop in February 1999 in the southern part of central Stockholm. This was the first jewelry shop that she owned and designed. Today the company has eight Efva Attling stores (one in NYC’s Meatpacking District). 103 retailers in Sweden and 81 across the rest of the globe.
