Among fruits, shells and blue tones – Momentous tangibles from Byon SS2023
“The sky is not the limit” is the theme of Byon’s spring and summer collection 2023. As always, the collection is colourful, filled with surprises and playful anticipations. This season the design flirts with vegetables, fruits, flowers and organic shapes. Details which make us smile and laugh, that make us dare to take our decoration one, two and three steps beyond the daily and safe ways of doing things.
The colour of the season from Byon is blue – cobalt blue with a touch of heaven and sea. Chunky and obvious so the details will show off. The products from Byon should always be decorative, even when they are left on the table after a dinner or when they are without flowers.

THE SEA COLLECTION
With roots on the west coast shells always have a natural place at Byon. Shapes which nature itself has created. In the Sea Collection the shape of the shells has met the imagination and become something we hardly thought existed. The porcelain is glazed or mat for the natural to meet the luxurious. Here you can find plate shell in different sizes, Bowl Awa, bowl shell and Shelley among other items straight from the sea. As always at Byon there are no rules about how things should be used. We harvest vegetables like never before. Inspired by naturally playful shapes Byon creates bowls and plates. We already find asparagus, sugar peas and broccoli in the assortment which is now complemented with bowls reminding us of cabbage. A happy detail which is easy to like, for sure. PLATE SHELL XL
Plate Shell is the result of the depth of the sea making a deep impression on our creations. Shell already exists in small sizes which are very popular. Small shell plates which work as great for the appetizer as for the bathroom soap. Now it’s available in a large size for serving seafood or why not potato salad or mingle food. Plate Shell is, in comparison to its friends in the assortment, glazed for a luxurious and festive expression. When the large and small shell plates are combined the contrast between matt and glossy creates a beautiful dimension.

Cia belongs to the Cara family including small colourful bowls of glass. The shape of the bowl makes us think of shiny toffee paper with ends that have been twisted and later opened. A description that also fits bowl Cia, although the shape is wider and more billowing. Together with the mixed blue colour the thoughts wander to the beautiful waves of the sea, or to the fish swimming along the sea floor. This is a bowl which mirrors glass art in a cocky and cool format. Serve the salad in it or just put it on the table as it is because bowl Cia likes to show off.

SWIRL COLLECTION – Bowl Swirl and Cup Swirl
Uneven, round, twisted, organic, oversized and with crooked messy stripes. Last season Mug Swirl made an entrance. Now it is accompanied by a small bowl and a cup.
