BYON interprets the Colour of the Year 2026 – white

In the BYON universe, colour is always a given – just like playfulness. Here, white tones work as an accent that enhances the colourful. This season’s white details appear as crisp contrasts that feel anything but cautious – a colour that lifts the whole rather than blends in.
– Our ambition is to give the white colour depth, movement and character. It takes shape through sculptural expressions, mouth-blown glass and wavy silhouettes. It’s a white tone that is allowed to take space – without apologising, says Beatrice Lindgren, Design and Concept Manager at BYON.
The renewed interest in white tones is also reflected in the wider colour world. The Pantone shade Cloud Dancer was named Colour of the Year 2026 – a white tone that is not cold or sterile, but warm, embracing and human. Exactly where BYON finds itself right now.
