Byon updates logo and visual identity

More than interior decorating and a way of living. Now Byon is updating its visual look to match the brands life philosophy. The result is a happier, cockier and a more playful expression. The new logo and visual look have a distinct identity with a high degree of recognition. The next step will be the opening of Byon's own world with a webshop for the European market. Byondesign.com will be launched early autumn.

Byon is the brand which never stops discovering new playful colour combinations, patterns, shapes and textures. Over time Byon has become a concept which is more than just interior decorating. It’s a way of meeting every day and life as a whole. Therefore, this is an important step completely in line with what Byon wants to become.

– Our life philosophy is more than just interior decorating. It includes everything, not least how to cherish every day. For that reason, it feels quite natural not to limit us in what we are and what we design. We are a lifestyle, we are Byon, says Sara Wernerby, marketing manager at Sagaform AB with the brand Byon.

From the 31st of May Byon takes a new step into the future, towards a world of its own with all that it entails. That’s when we open byondesign.se with our own webshop which will soon also be available for the rest of Europe. A large part of the drive is that Byon also totally changes its visual look. A new logo and expression which will have a happier, cockier and more inviting feel. Simply even more of Byon. The new identity has been developed in cooperation with Grebban.

– With “contrasts” as keyword during the design process we let hard meet soft, which is reflected in typographic choices but also in the logo design. The result is a distinct identity with a high degree of recognition. We have created a visual world filled with references to Art Noveau and flirting with the graphic expressions of the 70s and 80s. Expressive typographic styles combined with a strong colour palette, a playful imagery and a new logo are the foundation of the new identity which also permeates the digital experience, says Per Jörnlöv, AD at Grebban.

With Centra as platform and Grebban as design and development partner Byon is now ready for future e-commerce customers. The solution is headless and built for unlimited possibilities. First step is byondesign.se and in early autumn byondesign.com will be launched.
