Colourful shades of the sea – Byon spring & summer 2024
The magical sea and the twists and turns of the wind tickle our senses when Byon presents SS24. A collection which blossoms and bubbles. We find old favourites in new colours, be tempted by the sea, enjoy fresh fruit and be delighted by new figurines. Light blue stands out a little more this season. A colour that loves to be accompanied by warm and cold tones like the shifting of the sea. The collection is named Colourful shades of the sea.
It is at Byon magic is happening. Playfulness and curiosity run the show and decide what is created. Always colourful, always cocky and always with lots of warmth. The spring and summer collection 2024 is no exception, on the contrary, it’s bold, luxurious and energetic at the same time.
– We want it to pop, be full of contrasts, layered and maximized with differences. It’s there Byon comes to life and our momentous tangibles are born. For spring 2024 we dive deep under the sea surface to find shapes, patterns and colour nuances that through the filter of the sea can shift and change. We have refined, been playful, turned things upside down and done it the other way around. The result is a collection filled with humour, style and warmth, says Beatrice Lindgren, concept and design manager at Sagaform AB with the brand Byon.
In the collection Colourful shades of the sea you’ll find materials like glass, stone, ceramics and textile. Still chunky in a design that makes no excuses. Byon’s products love to expose themselves. You get to know fruity shapes being used in a new way, you’ll meet shell and flower favourites in new guises and figurines are welcomed like you have never seen them before.
As always at Byon the colour tones are strong and convincing but this season they will be experienced as slightly more matt in their expression. The collection colour is light blue which feels both cool and luxurious depending on what friends it’s combined with. You will also see contrasting black and dark grey for drama and dynamics to give the collection even more life.
– Although Byon loves colour, happiness and playfulness there is a calmness in large parts of the collection. For us it works, they complement one another, says Beatrice Lindgren.
Byon SS24 is available at selected retailers and at byondesign.se from the end of January.
