ACTE Montréal Global Summit

Event date 21 November 2019 – 22 November 2019

Location Fairmont the Queen Elizabeth 900 René-Lévesque Blvd W, Montréal

On 21-22 November 2019, CWT will attend the ACTE Montréal Global Summit to share our fresh perspective on how to think bigger picture in your business travel and meetings & events programs. Join us in our booth for presentations, education sessions and one-on-one conversations to learn more about how we can help you.

On November 21, at approximately 9:15am,  CWT's Lindsay Bayne, Manager, Open Innovation, will take to the main stage to do a 10-minute TED Talk-style presentation on: In the World of AI, Why Human Intelligence Is the Differentiator. This will be followed by a moderated Q&A at CWT's Innovation Zone at  10:45-11:00am.

Also on November 21 are a pair of education sessions happening at CWT's Innovation Zone:

From 11:00-11:30am local time, CWT's Katie Raddatz, Senior Director, Americas, Solutions Group, CWT, will present in an education session on Predictive Thinking in Business Travel, where we’ll show how travel managers can have more productive negotiations with suppliers, better anticipate peaks in traveler demand, and crucially, help control costs and uncover savings with suppliers, travelers and internal stakeholders.

From 2:45-3:15pm local time, CWT's Dave Holmes, Vice President, Payments, Global Supply Chain Partners, is speaking in a session on The Future of Payments is Mobile and Virtual. As near field communication (or NFC)-based mobile payments and virtual cards grow at exponential rates and approach mainstream status, what does this mean for the future of corporate travel payments? We’ll discuss the factors driving this growth, including the latest innovations, regulations and cost pressures, as well demand from travelers and travel managers for mobile-centric solutions.

Preliminary agenda can be found here.
