GBTA Convention 2019

GBTA Convention 2019 will address recent issues in business travel with findings from travel professionals who will attend this event.

CWT is participating in seven sessions, among them:

August 5, Monday

8:45-9:15am -> Peggy Studer, vice president, marketing, RoomIt by CWT will be headlining a session, in partnership with GBTA, to discuss the new GBTA Business Traveler Sentiment Index exploring every aspect of how travelers feel about their travel program.

8:45-9:15am -> Rebekah Hennessey, program manager, CWT Meetings & Events will be speaking in a morning session on: OMG...So You Want to Start a Strategic Meetings Management Program? Presented by the GBTA Meetings & Events Committee.

9:30-10:00am -> Katie Raddatz, senior director, Solutions Group, CWT, will be presenting this year’s CWT-GBTA Global Travel Forecast.

August 6, Tuesday

9:00-9:30am -> Dave Falter, president, RoomIt by CWT, will moderate a conversation on: Truth or Dare: Are Travelers Playing a Risky Game on the Road?

10:30-11:00am -> Tammy Morgan, vice president, North America customer organization, CWT will moderate a session on Travel Buyer Hacks. Speakers include: Yon Abad, vice president, suppliers, RoomIt by CWT.

12:15pm-12:45pm -> Tony Wagner, vice president, Americas and South Pacific regions, CWT Meetings & Events, will moderate a Center Stage panel on: Travel + Meetings: Big Opportunities Revealed.

August 7, Wednesday

12:00-12:30pm -> Rebekah Hennessey, program manager, CWT Meetings & Events, is speaking in a session called: Honey, the Industry Shrunk Commissions! Solutions for SMM Program Funding.

12:45-1:15pm -> Katie Raddatz, senior director, Solutions Group, CWT, will be back on stage to present: Predictive Thinking: How Travel Managers Should Be Using Predictive Analytics.

12:45-1:15pm -> Peggy Studer, vice president, marketing, RoomIt by CWT will reprise her speaking role, in partnership with GBTA, and discuss the new GBTA Business Traveler Sentiment Index exploring every aspect of how travelers feel about their travel program.
