Wheely Impressive: Cavotec Radio Remote Controls

Cavotec staff from Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, The Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK presented, discussed and learnt about current applications, market trends, customer needs and the latest developments and standards in the RRC field.

The event included a visit to specialised transport vehicle manufacturer and Cavotec partnerGoldhofer, for demonstrations of Goldhofer vehicles carrying over-sized and heavy loads. Participants were able to remotely control the vehicle pictured using Cavotec’s MC-3-6 RRC unit. Despite its size, this vehicle is able to turn on the spot and move sideways.

Participants welcomed the chance to exchange ideas and insights on the RRC market, and we will be hosting similar events in the US and Asia in 2011.
