In August-September, we onboarded 20 new graduates in Europe and Denmark. Starting now and over the next 12 months, the graduates will be participating in dedicated programs combining hands-on training and specialized mentoring.
Together with Astralis, we are currently exploring insights from game studies as an alternative to traditional e-learning for public IT systems, considering both the case handler and citizen perspectives.

NNIT Operations Specialist Lucas Füssel has worked on a way to reduce energy consumption in one of NNIT’s data centers, 1P, in Bagsværd, Denmark. He identified that by just allowing a slight increase in the overall temperatures in the data halls, we can lower the energy consumption with 12,61%.
As part of our corporate responsibility work, we support the initiative Velkommen Hjem (welcome home), a Danish organization working to ease the transition to a civilian career for military veterans. Members of NNIT’s management have volunteered to act as mentors, helping to prepare veterans for a new start.
NNIT supports the Danish initiative Coding Class as part of its commitment to the UN SDG 4 about Quality Education. Through Coding Class, children learn how to navigate in a digital world. This week, NNIT’s first coding class of 2021 ended with a coding finale.
